If Your School Has a HOSA Chapter
Great news! You're just a few steps away from joining a community of like-minded, motivated students. Here’s how to get started:
Talk to your school’s HOSA chapter advisor. This is usually a health science or CTE teacher at your school.
Attend a chapter meeting to learn more about what your chapter does.
Pay your affiliation fees. Your advisor will walk you through the process.
Get involved! Choose competitive events, attend conferences, run for office, and make the most of your membership.
If you’re unsure who your chapter advisor is, ask your school’s health science teacher or CTE office.
If Your School Does Not Have a HOSA Chapter
No HOSA chapter yet? You can help bring one to your school! Here’s what you can do:
Talk to a teacher or staff member who might be interested in serving as your HOSA chapter advisor. A health science, CTE, or science teacher is a great place to start.
Share this website with them, especially the Start a Chapter page for advisors.
Reach out to Tennessee HOSA. We’re happy to talk with your teacher and provide information they need to get started.
